Awesome view and sufficient space for large groups to sit and picnic as well. Highly recommend to all age groups.
We were lucky to witness rainbow as well. Photos do not justify enough but the real view was wonderful ππ.
Beautiful views at sunrise most relaxing place in summer
This viewpoint has a special place in my heart. It was the first scenic place that I went alone and started my whole travel journey (you can refer to my other reviews for reference). This place is special because it is both pretty at NIGHT and DAY. During the day, you will get to witness the beauty of nature through the flowing rivers, verdant grass, blue skies, etc. Then, at night, you will get to see the city lights which are mesmerizing for some unknown reason.
At night, you can also bring your girlfriend or partner here for some romantic moments. Only point of caution is that the road going up here has many slopes with sharp turns that will take some driving skills. Needs a level of driving skill to get here.
Overall, this place is an ideal stopover. You will not waste your time when you come here. After visiting here, you can probably go to Katoomba, Blue Mountains next.
A nice view overlooking the Sydney Basin. A nice destination to drive.
Very good lookout towards Penrith and the Nepean River & Lakes.
Magnificent view. It shows you how small humans are.
Although there are plenty of car park available, you might wanna slow down when you approach this place because itβs right next to a highway.
Pretty kids friendly. There are a couple of chairs there for you to enjoy the view. It gets pretty windy so not very suitable for picnic.
Great spot for a picnic and some photos. The view is amazing won't be forgotten. Easy to get there and easy to park your car.
"Ideally located on the drive between the Hawkesbury region and the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury Lookout offers beautiful scenic views and is a great picnic spot."
Nice place to relax and have a small picnic. Great views
